The CHH Cardiology Department is headed by a team of Board certified cardiologists, certified cardio diagnostic technicians, and cardiovascular nurses who provide quality cardiovascular care, state-of-the-art diagnostic testing, and comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Diagnostic Testing is performed with advanced technology that assists in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular illness with results available in a timely matter, usually 48 hours. Additional services include supervised programs in outpatient conditioning, cardiovascular fitness, and education and support groups are also available at the Hospital and at The Hungerford Cardiac Rehabilitation Centers in Torrington and Winsted.
