The Foster Care Clinic of Northwestern Connecticut is a collaborative program between the Center for Youth and Families of The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and Education Connection. The Foster Care Clinic's mission is to provide thorough medical and behavioral health screenings for all children placed into foster care in northwestern Connecticut within the first 30 days of placement. This program is made possible through the generous support of the Connecticut Department of Children and Families.
