CHH is dedicated to providing outstanding Behavioral Health Services to all members of our communities. Asking for help does not need to be difficult or embarrassing. Emotional problems are real, very painful and can negatively impact personal and family wellness. Our Behavioral Health Services include comprehensive treatment programs for all ages. Common to all of our programs is a dedicated team of licensed professional staff which include social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, substance abuse professionals, psychiatric nurse practitioners, adult and child psychiatrists. Our clinical expertise and wide variety of experience in assisting people in need enables us to provide the remarkable care you have come to expect from Charlotte.
CHH Behavioral Health Center (BHC)
Our services begin with a prompt, confidential telephone screening. We will work with you in setting up an initial appointment with a therapist who has the expertise you need. Your therapist will partner with you to explore your concerns, and help you identify and set specific goals and work with you to create a treatment program tailored to your individual needs and circumstances. Our treatment focuses on your unique strengths to help you in your recovery.

CIS-Crisis Intervention Services
Located in our Emergency Department, our team of crisis workers delivers immediate care to adults, adolescents and children experiencing an acute psychiatric emergency 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A psychiatrist is on call at all times for staff consult.
Our unit offers:
- Crisis intervention
- Evaluation and assessment
- Psychiatric disposition and referrals
CHH Inpatient Behavioral Health Service
The Inpatient program provides brief, comprehensive psychiatric stabilization, medical alchohol detoxification, and dual diagnosis treatment in a recovery oriented setting. The program is designed to encourage positive behavioral growth and improved functioning in a safe, highly structured, supportive environment.
The adult psychiatric servcies are partially funded by the Department of Mental health and Addiction Services (DMHAS)
