Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH) has opened “CHH Primary Care” in the center of Thomaston, CT, the newest practice operated by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital’s Multi-Specialty Group of outpatient service providers and primary care physicians.
Roberta Meltzer, MD., former director at the hospital’s Medical Walk-In Center in Torrington, will be offering comprehensive primary care services for adults young and old at her new office, CHH Primary Care, on 131 Main Street, Thomaston. According to primary care physician Dr. Meltzer, her practice is committed to personal and compassionate care through the diagnosis and treatment of both acute and long-term health conditions with a focus on wellness and lifestyle medicine. In addition to traditional medical care at CHH Primary Care, Dr. Meltzer incorporates diet and nutrition, Physical activity stress management, and smoking cessation to provide healthier outcomes for patients.
Primary care physician Dr. Roberta Meltzer joined the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital medical staff in 1995, where she served as the chief physician at the CHH Medical Walk-In in Torrington. She was pleased to receive the opportunity to offer primary care in Thomaston at CHH Primary Care, and to continue her association with CHH, just under 10 miles up Route 8. Dr. Meltzer attended Medical School at SUNY at Buffalo and conducted her Internship and Residency at Hartford Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine

Tuesday, 1 – 6 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
