Charlotte Hungerford Auxiliary To Present “Muuurder in Maaayberry” Mystery Dinner
Back by popular demand, the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH) Auxiliary will is presenting second annual Mystery Dinner fundraiser. “Muuurder in Maaayberry, will be held Saturday, September 8th at 6:00 PM at The Grand Oak Villa, 550 Sylvan Lake Road, Oakville, CT.
This 100% audience participation event is performed by Randy Manning and Jest Mysteries, a nationally recognized theatre company. The evening includes a sit-down dinner with an Italian flair, cash bar, and an exciting and mysterious story that will keep everyone laughing and guessing. This year’s dinner is dedicated in the loving memory of two extraordinary women, Ruth Chadwick and Joann Taylor. Sponsorships are also available.

“This year, there will be a “twist” in the program in that a nurse and physicians from CHH will be participating. There is a hospital in our Mayberry and who works there is part of the mystery!” stated event Co-chair and Auxiliary Board Member Susan Cook.
The Board of the CHH Auxiliary consists of 25 volunteers who have been lifelong members of the community, many of whom have been CHH patients and believe strongly in supporting quality healthcare at their local community hospital. The Auxiliary raises money to fund specific patient care programs, equipment, and special events. It also awards annual scholarships to local college students pursuing careers in the medical field. Since 2004 the Auxiliary has given Charlotte Hungerford Hospital over $300,000 towards projects.
