Once again, the annual Cancer Care Fund of the Litchfield Hills Golf Tournament was an incredible success – raising $43,000 that will be used by the fund to help cancer patients in need of assistance residing in the northwest corner.
Joseph Barbieri, representing Ray Barbieri of Torrington’s RJB Construction, an event organizer and founder of the annual tournament, recently presented a check to Ellen Ebbs, Executive Director of the Fund and Mary Gilman, current fund president, at a recent meeting.
“We are so grateful to Joe and all of the sponsors and participants of this annual tournament. These funds directly help those in need right here in our community.” said Ellen Ebbs, Executive Director of the Fund.
