CHH Nurse Elected Regional Coordinator Of International Nursing Honor Society

Jennifer Allis Vazquez, MSN, RN, Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH), has been elected to the position of Regional Coordinator for Region 15 of Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society for Nursing, during the Biennial Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, in November. As a Regional Coordinator, Vazquez will educate, mentor and act as a resource to chapter leaders of the 29 chapters in the Region throughout New England and Nova Scotia, Canada.

At CHH, Vazquez promotes infection control measures in order to protect patients, employees, and visitors. Additionally, Vazquez is an Adjunct Professor in the Nursing Department at Central Connecticut State University where she teaches Health Assessment and Nursing Ethics.
