CHH Emergency & Medical Care Receives Grant for New Benches from KBE Building Corporation

KBE(Torrington)  – Farmington based KBE Building Corporation has given Charlotte Hungerford Hospital’s Emergency & Medical Services at 115 Spencer Street in Winsted a $1,500 grant to purchase two new all-weather benches for staff and patients. The benches were recently installed at the center’s main and cardio pulmonary & rehabilitation entrances, and complement recently completed landscaping and exterior improvements.

“We are so appreciative to our friends at KBE for making these benches possible. They provide a comfortable, quiet place to wait and rest and are already being used daily.” says Michele Rainville, RN, Clinical Manager of CHH Emergency & Medical Care.

Located in Farmington, CT; Norwalk, CT; and Columbia, MD, KBE Building Corporation is a full-service, single-source commercial construction company serving the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic U.S. The grant is part of KBE’s 50 Ways to Make a Difference program.
