(Torrington, CT) – Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH) is upgrading its outpatient services entrance and parking area off Litchfield Street and will be offering temporary alternate parking and campus shuttle service for patients during the project.
From Saturday, September 19th through Monday, September 28th, 2015, the Hospital’s outpatient entrance and circular driveway/patient drop off area will remain OPEN. People are asked to come to the outpatient entrance as usual and drop off patients for blood drawing, outpatient procedures, and radiology/X-ray/MRI services.
The outpatient parking lot will be CLOSED for renovations and repaving. Drivers will be instructed to park in an alternate campus lot with free, round trip shuttle transportation between their vehicle and the outpatient entrance. Volunteers and security will be available for assistance. Handicap parking spaces at the entrance will still be available.
For convenience, CHH also offers Blood Drawing Services at two other convenient locations including the CHH Medical Walk In Center, 1598 East Main Street, Torrington (Tues, Wed, Thurs from 6 to 10 a.m.) and the Hungerford Emergency and Medical Center at the Winsted Health Center, 115 Spencer Street, Winsted, CT, (Mon -Fri from 6:30 am to 5 pm and Sat, 7 am to 10:30 am. No appointments needed.
