(Torrington, CT) School age children and their parents/caregivers are invited to participate in 2 FREE workshops entitled “Help Your Child Navigate Through Their World” on Tuesdays, December 1st and 15th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Vogel-Wetmore School Cafeteria, 68 Church Street, Torrington.
Each workshop will have a different theme. Attendees to the December 1st workshop will learn skills that can help you develop strategies to avoid stress in your child’s everyday routine. The second workshop December 15th will focus on building a mindset for making healthy choices, and neat snack ideas. Adults will learn about the above topics from medical professionals of Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Children will play fun games that help to release unhealthy stress, communicate better, and team-up with others to solve game challenges and make healthy creative snacks together.
Childcare will be available for younger siblings. A light healthy dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
