(Torrington, CT) Charlotte Hungerford Hospital’s Thomaston-based Primary Care office headed by Dr. Roberta Meltzer has expanded its staff and relocated to a larger location at 76 Watertown Road, Thomaston, CT. CHH Primary Care Thomaston is part of the hospital’s Multi-Specialty Group of outpatient service providers and physicians that offers comprehensive primary care services for adults young and old.
The practice and staff has completed their move to the new location, and are also welcoming Lindsey K. Ostro, RN, CSC, CCRN, OCN, S-FNP, a Nurse Practitioner who received her Masters of Science in Nursing at Simmons College, Boston, MA. She joins Dr. Roberta Meltzer and APRNs Melanie Mollica and Margarita Rios.
According to Dr. Meltzer, her practice is committed to personal and compassionate care through the diagnosis and treatment of both acute and long-term health conditions with a focus on wellness and lifestyle medicine. In addition to traditional medical care, Dr. Meltzer incorporates diet and nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and smoking cessation to provide healthier outcomes for patients.

Dr. Roberta Meltzer joined the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital medical staff in 1995, where she served as the chief physician at the CHH Medical Walk-In in Torrington. She attended Medical School at SUNY at Buffalo and conducted her Internship and Residency at Hartford Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
