CHH August Artist of the Month Now on Display

The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH) Auxiliary is featuring the photographic works of Amor C. Lomibao, M.D. now through early September 2017 in the hospital’s main lobby hallway, 540 Litchfield Street, Torrington. The public is invited to view and buy the works during regular visiting hours as part of the Auxiliary’s ongoing “Artist of the Month” program. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the artwork support the CHH Auxiliary and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

Amor C. Lomibao, M.D. is a founding member of ProHealth Physicians, Inc. and is an attending medical staff at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He practices Internal Medicine in Winsted, CT. At New York Institute of Photography, he studied digital photography using Adobe Photoshop. He is a member of Photographic Society of America, and is also a member of Canton Camera Club here in Northwest Connecticut. Last year, his photo entry CHH AUG Artist 17received an Honorable Mention from the New England Camera Club Council, the umbrella organization of more than 70 camera clubs on the east coast. He is also a regular ribbon winner of his camera club. Amor supports the education and feeding program of 270 school children at Ste Therese De L’Enfant Jesus in Lilavois, Haiti. Proceeds from the sale of his photos will go to this project.

The Auxiliary’s “Artist of the Month” program has been featuring paintings, photographs, and artwork each month from local artists for over 25 years. Their over 200 member supporters assist in raising money for the hospital through dues, donations, volunteering at the gift shop, and a variety of events including an annual fall fashion show and luncheon.
