Bates, AuD., CCC-A, FAAA, offers the latest in audiology services and technology in the offices of hospital based CHH Ear, Nose & Throat, in the Turner Coe Annex Building, 540 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT.
Dr. Bates assists patients in identifying hearing disorders and providing appropriate treatment for those disorders with state of the art technology for both the pediatric and adult populations. She also works with many different hearing instrument manufacturers to highlight and prescribe the latest in breakthrough hearing assistance technology such as bluetooth enabled and rechargeable hearing devices. Dr. Bates is currently using Otoacoustic Emissions testing of the inner ear which is used on difficult to test patients, pediatrics and newly identified hearing losses in patients.

Watching my patient’s eyes light up when they can hear with ease their family member talk to them in a normal volume is why I am grateful to improve people’s quality of life, interpersonal relationships with the gift of hearing.” said Dr. Andrea M. Bates.
Dr. Bates has been practicing audiology for nearly 15 years, receiving her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University and a Master’s in Audiology from Southern Connecticut State University. She is certified with American Speech Language and Hearing Association, Licensed with the State of Connecticut, Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Bates has a broad spectrum of experience in audiology having previously worked 5 years at a major pediatric medical center in diagnostics and treatment of pediatric hearing disorders. She also has significant experience with the adult population having worked in ENT clinics, and private practice.
Dr. Bates sees patients at her office with CHH Ear, Nose & Throat, 540 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT. The practice is pleased to be a participating provider of hearing aids for State of Connecticut retirees.
