The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Rehabilitation Department/Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Program is offering a conditioning camp for any and all students attending Northwestern Regional 7, Thomaston High School, Gilbert High School, Litchfield High School, and Torrington High School hoping to obtain or maintain peak physical fitness.
This year the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Rehabilitation Department has partnered with MissFits Boot Camp located at 160 Winsted Rd, Torrington CT to host their 2018 Conditioning Camp. It will be held on Wednesdays July 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st, 8th, and 15th from 11 a.m. to Noon. The cost is $60 to attend for all 6 sessions.
The goal is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle in adolescents. The camp will consist of a variety of plyometric exercises as well as circuit training and will change weekly. Each class will be run by a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer from Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and a Certified Personal Trainer from MissFits Bootcamp.
“The key to success in athletics is participating in a broad range of activities and hard work in the off-season. Our specialized blend of exercises will improve performance and instill a solid exercise foundation in those who attend” said CHH Athletic Training Program Director Amanda Hill.
