Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is presenting “Heart, Body and Soul”, a new FREE three-part series for women highlighting tips and information from local physicians and experts on living healthy and well. Each evening will be an educational and engaging event including presentations, discussion, a light healthy dinner and more!
“This free series was designed to address important health and wellness concerns facing women and to provide meaningful resources in an enjoyable setting. We hope women invite a friend or family member and attend all three sessions as each will be unique.” said Joyce Germano, Communications & Community Development Coordinator at CHH.
Series dates and topics include:
Wednesday, May 8th – “The No Diet Approach to Healthy Weight Management” presented by Carla Angevine, MS, RDN.
Wednesday, May 22nd – “The Motherlode- A Presentation and Book Signing,” a funny, frank and eye-opening look at mother-daughter relationships, presented by Velya Jancz-Urban and Ehris Urban.
All three talks in the series will be held at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Memorial Building Conference Hall, 540 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT, from 5:30 -7:00 p.m.
