The CHH Foot Center offers assistance to help patients maintain healthy feet and provide effective, timely diagnosis of foot related medical issues. These may include Achilles Tendon, ankle instability and sprains, arthritic foot and ankle care, athletes foot, bunions, calluses, corns, hammertoes, heel spurs, and ingrown toenails. The Center also assists with crush injuries, diabetic foot wounds, flat feet, plantar fasciitis, neuromas, and overall geriatric foot care.

Podiatrists Dennis D’Onofrio, D.P.M.’s and Benish Ali, D.P.M’s experience in podiatric medicine and surgery is coupled with genuine concern for their patients. Dennis D’Onofrio, DPM, FACFAS, joined CHH in 1990, and through his practice has been working with patients to provide the best podiatric care for patients in the Litchfield County area. He attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and served his Residency and Internship at V.A. Medical Center, West Haven. He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is also a certified Wound Specialist Physician. Benish Ali, DPM, has been affiliated with CHH and the practice since 2017. She attended New York College Of Podiatric Medicine, New York City, NY, and did her Residency in Podiatric Surgery at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford, CT. Dr. Ali is Board Qualified with The American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

People that have diabetes often suffer from other associated medical ailments such as nerve damage and poor circulation which may cause a loss in the ability to feel pain, heat or cold, and even the sense of touch in their feet. If left untreated, foot wounds can lead to amputation, so prevention through early detection and treatment is key.

The office is located at the hospital’s Turner Coe Annex, connected to the Main Tower Building at 540 Litchfield Street, Torrington, with parking behind the Memorial Building.
